About Cherry Creek Youth Sports

Our mission is to offer the benefits of team sports to the boys and girls of our community. We will provide outstanding leadership, coaching and administration so that all of our kids may learn sportsmanship, teamwork and self-improvement at the level of competition best suited for each.

CCYS is a non-profit community organization made up of volunteers committed to the youth of our area. We provide Baseball, Tackle Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Softball and Cheerleading. As one of the premier youth sports organizations in the South Denver Metro Area, we are affiliated with the Arapahoe Youth League (AYL) and compete with other member clubs. Please refer to our territory boundary description to determine if your child is in CCYS territory.

We welcome your participation!  If you have any questions about CCYS, please feel free to contact us.

Bill Gaston
1958 – 2007

On April 15th, 2007, Cherry Creek Youth Sports and the Arapahoe Youth League lost a great champion for youth sports in our community.  For many years, Bill Gaston was the face of Cherry Creek Youth Sports, spending countless hours as a coach, board member, past president and, most recently, as the full time manager of CCYS.  He was a stalwart member of several AYL sports boards and worked tirelessly as an advocate for the AYL’s “Youth Comes First” philosophy.  Bill always made sure that every boy and girl in the Cherry Creek organization had a team to play on and a coach to play for.  His energy was boundless and his deep commitment to the kids of our community never waivered.  We will all miss him.
